A WOMAN’S ELEGANT SHOES WALKING HASTILY DOWN A SIMILAR SIDEWALK, WE HEAR THE WOMAN’S BREATHE CATCHING. THE HOODED FIGURE’S GATE QUICKENS. WE SEE THE BACK OF THE WOMAN’S HEAD AS SHE TURNS A CORNER INTO AN ALLEY. THE HOODED FIGURE FOLLOWS. THE ALLEY DARK AND BARREN. WE SEE THE WOMAN LOOK BACK AND THEN START TO RUN INTO THE BACK OF THE ALLEY. THE HOODED FIGURES RUNS AFTER HER. THE ALLEY IS A DEAD END AND THE WOMAN TURNS AROUND IN FEAR. WE SEE A GLIMPSE BEFORE ANOTHER PERSON RUNS UP TO THE FIGURE FROM BEHIND, TACKLING THEM.

INT.CAFETERIA.DAY
A HUGE CAFETERIA IS EXTREMELY BUSY WITH MANY PEOPLE COMING AND GOING WITH FOOD, MANY OF THE TABLES ARE PACKED WITH STUDENTS CONVERSING. THE CAMERA PANS DOWNWARD FROM AN OVERHEAD SHOT. PEOPLE ARE EMERGING FROM THE LUNCH LANE WITH FOOD. WE TRACK A PERSON EMERGING FROM THE LINE UNTIL WE SETTLE ON A SOLITARY PERSON SITTING AT A TABLE. THEY ARE PLAYING A NINTENDO DS AND HAVE AN OPEN BOOK IN FRONT OF THEM.
CHARLIE CHARLIE LOOKS OVER TO OTHER TABLES DESPAIRINGLY.
CUT TO:
NUMEROUS TABLES FILLED WITH FRIENDS AND COUPLES, CONVERSING AND LAUGHING.
CUT BACK TO: OVER THE SHOULDER OF CHARLIE LOOKING AT THE OTHER TABLES.
CHARLIE GETS UP AND LEAVES THE FRAME.
CUT TO: WIDE SHOT OF CAFETERIA, CHARLIE LEAVING FROM SIDE ENTRANCE.

CHARLIE WALKING UP TO VENDING MACHINE FROM SIDE SHE GETS OUT A FEW QUARTERS AND ENTERS THE FIRST INTO THE MACHINE. HER HAND MOVES TO PICK HER SELECTION-

THE MACHINE’S RED LIGHTS SHOWING THAT NO MONEY HAS BEEN ENTERED, WE HEAR A COIN SLIDE DOWN IT’S METAL SHOOT. CLOSE UP OF THE QUARTER LYING IN THE COIN RETURN.
